Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies, Inc. (AERT) develops, manufactures, and markets composite building materials that are used in place of traditional wood or plastic products for exterior applications in building and remodeling homes and for certain other industrial or commercial building purposes. The Company's products are made primarily from approximately equal amounts of waste wood fiber, which have been cleaned, sized and reprocessed, and recycled polyethylene plastics. Its composite building materials are marketed as a substitute for wood and plastic filler materials for standard door components, windowsills, brick mould, fascia board, decking and heavy industrial flooring under the LifeCycle, MoistureShield, MoistureShield CornerLoc, Weyerhaeuser ChoiceDek Premium, ChoiceDek Premium Colors and MoistureShield outdoor decking trade names. AERT operates manufacturing facilities in Springdale, Lowell, and Tontitown, Arkansas; Junction, Texas and Alexandria, Louisiana.
