ASE Test Limited (ASE Test) is an independent semiconductor testing company, providing a range of testing services. These services include front-end engineering testing, final testing of complex, high-performance logic/mixed-signal semiconductors, and turnkey services, which include drop shipment of tested and packaged semiconductors to end users designated by the Company's customers. In addition, ASE Test provides a range of leadframe- and laminate-based semiconductor packaging services, including ball grid array (BGA), quad flat packages (QFP) and thin quad flat packages (TQFP) at its facilities in Malaysia. . During the year ended December 31, 2005, approximately 98.4% of the Company's net testing revenues were derived from testing complex, high-performance logic/mixed-signal semiconductors and approximately 71.1% of net packaging revenues were derived from packaging advanced substrate and leadframe-based packages.
