Audiovox Corporation (Audiovox) is an international distributor and value-added service provider in the mobile and consumer electronics industries. The Company conducts its business through four wholly owned subsidiaries: Audiovox Electronics Corporation, American Radio Corp., Code Systems, Inc. and Audiovox German Holdings GmbH and one majority-owned subsidiary Audiovox Venezuela, C.A. It markets products under the Audiovox brand name and other brand names, such as Jensen, Pursuit, Code-Alarm, Car Link, Movies 2 Go, Magnate, Mac Audio, Heco, Acoustic Research, Advent and Phase Linear, as well as private labels through a large domestic and international distribution network. The Company also functions as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supplier to several customers and has one segment Electronics, which is organized by product category. On November 7, 2005, it completed the sale of its majority-owned subsidiary, Audiovox Malaysia.
